Training Your Own Full Potential Service Dog

Independence Freedom Stability

A service dog offers more than just assistance; it brings a profound sense of freedom, turning everyday challenges into manageable tasks.

I have been using the Sullivan Method of training for my Service dog since she was a puppy. I'm so glad that I did! I've taught my SD how to LOVE learning! ~Ingrid

Tokia has been a blessing in my life, bringing healing, resilience, and support through my disabilities and the loss of my first dog, Mollie. While Mollie’s absence will always weigh on my heart, Tokia has helped me move forward—not by replacing her, but by continuing the role she once filled in her own unique way. I am incredibly grateful to this organization for donating Tokia and providing her training, giving me not just a service dog but a lifeline that has changed my life.

I just started training using Lelah's book and I am really impressed with how much my dog is picking up. The format is simple to understand and the tasks are fun to do with my dog! ~Beth

About Lelah and Your Service Dog Inc

Lelah Sullivan is a renowned dog trainer and the author of several dog training books, featuring her unique Full Potential Service Dog Method. This method, rooted in time-tested circus training techniques, was passed down to her by her Uncle Joseph, a skilled animal trainer in the circus. By refining and adapting these techniques, Lelah developed a compassionate and highly effective approach to training Service Dogs.

In 2018, she founded Your Service Dog Inc, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals to train their own Service Dogs while also providing fully trained Service Dogs at no cost to those who cannot train their own.

Beyond training, Your Service Dog Inc helps individuals find the right Service Dog by offering carefully evaluated, partially trained dogs to those who do not have a suitable candidate. These dogs serve as the foundation for a successful Service Dog Partnership, ensuring that those in need receive a well-matched Partner for their specific requirements.

Through education, guidance, and direct Service Dog placements, Lelah and Your Service Dog Inc are making Service Dog access more achievable for all.
